Terms of Service
Last updated October 8, 2026
These terms apply when you use bellwebagency.com or buy a website service from Bell Web Agency (“we”, “us”). By starting a project or paying for a service, you agree to them. If you have a question, email info@bellwebagency.com.
The short version
- The Launch Website is a one-page website for a one-time setup fee, plus a monthly plan for hosting, maintenance, and support.
- The monthly plan is month-to-month. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period.
- You own your content and your domain. Larger projects are covered by a separate written proposal.
Our services
Launch Website
The Launch Website is a professionally designed, one-page website built from our proven structure. The setup fee covers design, development, a review-and-refine step before launch, connecting your domain, SSL, and launch. What’s included is described on our pricing section at the time you buy.
Additional pages, custom features, integrations, ecommerce, and larger changes aren’t included. We’re happy to scope and quote them separately.
Monthly plan
The monthly plan covers hosting, SSL, technical maintenance, software and security updates, monitoring, and basic support. Basic support includes small updates to your existing website — for example, changing text, swapping an image, or updating contact details. New sections, new pages, redesigns, and new features are quoted before any work begins.
Custom projects
Custom websites and other larger projects are covered by a written proposal or agreement. If it conflicts with these terms, the proposal or agreement wins for that project.
Working together
- Your information. We build your website from the information and materials you provide. Please provide them, and give feedback and approvals, in a reasonable time. Delays on either side can move the launch date.
- Your materials. You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, logos, and other materials you give us, and that they don’t break any law or anyone else’s rights.
- Review and refine. Before launch, you’ll review your website and send consolidated feedback. We’ll refine it within the agreed scope. Requests beyond that scope may be quoted separately.
Payment
- Setup fee. The one-time setup fee is due before work begins.
- Monthly plan. The monthly plan starts on the date of purchase and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- How you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We don’t store your full card details.
- Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added where required. We may change prices for future billing periods; we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change applies to your plan.
- Late payment. If a payment fails and isn’t resolved within 14 days of our reminder, we may pause your website until it’s paid.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancelling the monthly plan. You can cancel anytime by emailing us or through your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund partial months.
- Setup fee. If you cancel before we start work on your website, we’ll refund the setup fee in full. Once work has started, the setup fee isn’t refundable.
- When your plan ends. At the end of your final billing period, we’ll take your website offline. If you ask within 30 days, we’ll send you a copy of the content you provided and the text and images used on your website.
Ownership
- Your content and brand. You own the content, images, logos, and other materials you provide, and your domain name.
- Your website. While your plan is active, you have the right to use the website we build for you. We own the underlying code, templates, and design system we use to build websites, which lets us keep your website maintained and up to date.
- Our portfolio. We may show your launched website in our portfolio. If you’d rather we didn’t, tell us and we’ll leave it out.
Your domain
Your domain should be registered in your name. If you don’t have one, we’ll help you register it in your name. If we ever register a domain for you, it belongs to you and we’ll transfer it on request.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers to host and run websites, process payments, and deliver email. Their services are outside our direct control. We work to keep your website available and secure, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use a website we build or host for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may pause or remove a website that does, and we’ll tell you why.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We take care in our work, but our services are provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise specific business results, such as a number of leads, sales, or search rankings.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Using bellwebagency.com
You may use this website for its intended purpose. Please don’t misuse it — for example, by trying to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, or submit spam. The content and design of this website belong to Bell Web Agency, except for client work shown with permission. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects an active plan, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
